How to "Punch" Up Your Party!

Beer and wine are all well and good but if you want to really impress your guests at your next party, (in a very easy way which will actually simplify your bar situation!) make and serve this delicious and beautiful summer time PUNCH!

ROSE NECTARINE SANGRIA

  • One bottle of dry crisp pinot gr

  • Two bottles of your favorite affordable rose

  • Three white nectarines, peeled and thinly sliced

  • Two yellow nectarines, PEEL ON and thinly sliced

Directions: Morning of party place sliced nectarines in bottom of large glass container (that has a lid).  Add both wines.  Let marinate during the day in the fridge.  Gently mix every few hours.  30 mintues before party starts, pour all into your punch bowl or serving pitchers.  Top with one bottle of sparkling white wine.  Feel free to add a sprig of fresh rosemary or mint for visual effect. Set up self serve on your counter/bar table, with fresh herbs for people to add, an ice bucket with tongs, and your favorite glassware.  Then sit back and wait for the compliments to roll in.
